Apple Harvest at Huber Apple Orchard

When fall is in the air there’s no better way to kick off the season than with apple picking. The Huber Apple Orchard is in the Wasatch State Park in Midway and boasts 115-year-old trees that produces a variety of apples including Yellow Transparent and Red Astrachan. Be sure to make a reservation to harvest them. Open Saturdays and Sundays.

Jim Jacobs: The Imperfections That Render Us Visible Exhibit

Part limb or trunk, part processed lumber, these translations of tree forms show signs of humans— tools, furniture, hair, squared and planed lumber. In Crest, branches extend, not from a trunk, but from the legs of a chair that has tipped over backwards. The white desiccated blossoms foam like the crest of a breaking wave.
