CAF Hangar on the Russ McDonald Field

Through October 31

Open through Oct 31, Thursday – Sunday Dedicated to honoring American Military Aviation through Flight, Exhibit & Remembrance. The Museum contains artifacts and exhibits from World War II, Korean and Vietnam wars. In addition they operate a N2S Stearman aircraft and two T-6 Advanced Trainer aircraft – part of the CAF’s eet of over 170 vintage warbirds – public rides available.

Niki de Saint Phalle

One of the foremost women artists of the twentieth-century, Niki de Saint Phalle worked as a sculptor, painter and filmmaker between the late 1950s and early 2000s. Her pieces range from intimate to monumental. This exhibition brings visibility to an artist recently celebrated in retrospectives at Paris’ Le Grand Palais and the Guggenheim Bilbao.

Kimball Art Center – Niki de Saint Phalle: Freedom Would Be Mine

Through Septmeber 16th.  Spain’s Guggenheim Bilbao. Le Grand Palais in Paris. Park City’s Kimball Art Center. This month, they’ll all share the same bragging right — each has played host to Niki de Saint Phalle’s works. Considered one of the foremost women artists of the twentieth-century, Niki de Saint Phalle’s sculptures, paintings and films showcase her remarkable grit, fierce independence and bold, if not provocative, convictions.
